A PAVA (Public Address and Voice Alarm) system combines everyday public address announcements with a fire-alarm-integrated voice evacuation system — delivering clear, pre-recorded or live spoken instructions to specific zones of a building the moment an emergency is detected.

A siren tells people something is wrong; a voice alarm tells them what to do and where to go — and that difference measurably reduces panic and evacuation time in a real emergency, which is why voice alarm is increasingly expected alongside a conventional fire alarm rather than instead of it.

We design the zone layout and coverage around your facility, select and install amplifiers, controllers and speakers sized for the space, integrate the system with your fire alarm panel so it triggers automatically, and add emergency microphones for live override when staff need to speak directly to occupants.

Zoned messaging means only the affected area gets an evacuation instruction while adjacent zones receive a stand-by alert instead — avoiding the panic and bottlenecking that a facility-wide alarm can cause for what's actually a localized incident.

An amplifier or speaker circuit that's gone faulty often stays unnoticed during normal day-to-day PA use, since a single dead zone doesn't affect routine announcements elsewhere — which is exactly why we test every zone's audibility and the emergency microphone override on a schedule, not just at commissioning.
